BONATERM® A-1
BONATERM® A-1 is a polychloroprene contact adhesive based on special types of chloroprene rubbers modified by synthetic resins and other additives; owing to that, adhesive joint has an excellent adhesion and high thermal resistance. The adhesive is also produced in a non-toluene form as BONATERM® A-1 BT.
APPLICATION:
BONATERM® A-1 adhesive is mainly used in a footwear industry for bonding natural leathers and some synthetic ones with soles made of thunit rubber, foam rubber, as well as for incurring uppers on insoles made of composition leather, texon, bontex materials, etc. BONATERM® A-1 adhesive can also be used in furniture, Automotive and construction industries for bonding timber, plastics, plywood, rubber, cork, hard PVC, metal. It is not suitable for bonding Styrofoam, polypropylene, polyethylene and soft PVC.
PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL PROPERTIES:
Appearance: viscous, dark-yellow liquid, with distinct homogenously dispersed fillers and stabilizers
Dry weight: 18-22% in accordance with PN-EN 827
Viscosity: KF 6mm, outflow 50 ml 40-50 sec. in accordance with PN-EN ISO 2431
Brokfield LDVD 1500-4200 mPas
Peel Strength in accordance with PN-ISO 11339, type of material: canvas-canvas:
Initial – at least 3,0 kN/m
Final – at least 4,5 kN/m
Joint’s thermal resistance: up to 100° C.
